Kenny Chesney's House Goes Under in Nashville
We all know how much of a pain sandbagging can be and how emotional a flood can be. Losing personal belongings is not fun. A flood can stress a lot of people out especiall when it comes to their family, friends, and work. Country singer, Kenny Chesney has now experienced this natural desaster. After his 40 acre property was under water the emotions start flowing. Along with other stars from Nashville, most of them got their personal belongings out. Brad Paisley says, "On the positive side everyone is safe. On the negative, I think all my road guitar gear, amps, effects, are all under 3ft. water." Another star LeAnn Rimes comments, "Omg, I've been in tears for the last hour, I love you Nashville." I think that many of these stars won't have a problem replacing any of the person items they lost. They can afford it with no problems. We live in a small town and it would be way harder for us to replace things. But all the stars that aren't affected by this flood, are praying for everyone is Nashville.

These country stars may not have any problems replacing their equipment, but they are not as cheap as you might think. You also have to remember they have possessions that are irreplaceable just like any other person who has been affected by flooding.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting article, because I seen the flooding of Nashville happening on TV. All of these Nashville stars losing their belongings is a sad deal. They all have alot of expensive things and cherish everyone of them. Seeing all the belongings go under water and are lost is unhappy to most. The flooding in Nashville has affected most homes, and I saw the cars under water and a house floating away when I saw the Nashville flood on TV. I was amazed of how many floods we will actually have in this world. It scares me even thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteI think it is nice to see the country community pulling together to raise money for Nashville. It is nice to see stars raising money to help out our own country and the people who are affected by this flood. Nashville is the home for country music so it only seem appropriate that they are all raising money for these victims, even if they were personally affected. Also, I agree with that they can easily replace their personal belongings, but they can’t get back the memories that went along with some of the stuff.
ReplyDeleteNatural disasters are difficult on all people. Often times, the best way to get through is for a community (whether that be a town, a state, or even a whole country) to come together and work through the damage. Natural disasters are also a bit of a wake-up call; no one, regardless of fortune or fame, is immune to them.
